It’s Women’s History Month! For our March meeting, we are going to meet Tanya Ward Jordan, who will help us find our purpose through the power of the pen. She will reveal how she overcame workplace discrimination and how writing became a cathartic outlet for her as she claimed the victory over adversity So, get ready to bring your pens, pads/notebooks and your thinking caps to be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Tanya Ward Jordan, a native Washingtonian and MWA member, is an advocate for workplace equality. She founded The Coalition For Change, Inc., for employees who challenge racism and reprisal in the federal workplace. Her writing credits include: 17 Steps: A Federal Employee’s Guide For Tackling Workplace Discrimination and “Sipping Wine Over Rhymes”. Tanya holds a B.S. degree in Business Management and a M.S. degree in Human Resources Management both from the University of Maryland.
