The past is always with us, adding faint echoes to our days. This is especially true during the holiday season when the days grow short and we tell and retell family stories. Join Barbara Morrison in exploring ways to capture moments of our past, the ones that have stayed with us through the years, and use them as a spark for mini-memoirs, flash fiction and essays.

Barbara Morrison, who writes under the name B. Morrison, is the author of a memoir, Innocent: Confessions of a Welfare Mother, and two poetry collections, Terrarium and Here at Least. Her award-winning work has been published in The Sun Magazine, Tiny Lights, Sin Fronteras/Writers without Borders, and elsewhere. She conducts writing workshops and provides editing services. For more information, visit her website and blog at http://www.bmorrison.com.
