Becoming an author at any age and any stage of life:

Writers write and authors put their writing out for the world to see. Cheril Thomas was a writer and a storyteller from childhood on, but didn't become an author until she was 40, and didn't become a published author for another twenty years. Since then, she's published three books and should have the fourth out soon. In this presentation, she will share her experiences and the various methods and tools she's used in writing and publishing her books.

Bio:  Cheril Thomas is the author of the Eastern Shore Mysteries series. Squatter's Rights and A Commission on Murder will be followed by Dead Right There in 2019. She is also the co-author of a mystery serial, Whispers - A Maggie Maitland Mystery, which ran in Attraction Magazine and was published in novel format in 2016. In addition to her books, she has published short stories and essays. She lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband and a too-smart-for-her-own-good Goldendoodle named Gracie Mae. You can find Cheril at and on Facebook at Cheril Thomas Author.
