Frederick County Chapter: Critques - How to Give, and How to Receive

March 16, 2019
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Urbana Regional Library
9020 Amelung Street
Frederick, MD 21704

Kari draws from her experiences critiquing and being critiqued in settings such as writers' retreats, formal conference critiques, manuscript editing, and peer feedback forums, to help members embrace critiques of their work and give feedback that is valuable to other writers. This will be an interactive presentation. Toward the end, we will break into groups for some critique exercises, and then talk about forming critique groups outside of monthly meetings.  If you wish to join a critique group, please have in mind your genre(s) and availability.
