Everyone has a story to tell, and writing a memoir is a great way to share yours. In this workshop, award-winning memoirist Barbara Morrison will help us begin writing our story. After looking at different kinds of memoirs, she will lead us into a discussion focused on how to get started transforming our experiences into stories that will touch others. Bring lots of questions and writing materials

Barbara Morrison is the author of a memoir, Innocent: Confessions of a Welfare Mother, as well as two poetry collections, Terrarium, and Here at Least. An editor, teacher and publisher, her award-winning work has been published in anthologies and magazines. Visit www.bmorrison.com.
