Free Webinar for MWA Members Saturday, March 28 - What I Can Do Today

While everyone is reeling from the drastic impact of COVID-19 on our day-to-day lives, including self-quarantines, shutdowns, the postponement of Brain to Bookshelf 2020, and the cancellation of other in-person writing events, MWA has rallied to bring a little light to our writing community.

Barbara Morrison, a beloved MWA member and former MWA newsletter editor, will talk to us about

What I Can Do Today

a free webinar for MWA members

2 PM ET, Saturday, March 28, 2020

Perhaps you are sheltering in place or having to stay home with children because schools are closed. You may be struggling with finding the time to write or the self-discipline to start. Perhaps you are feeling the pangs of isolation or helpless grief for our world. You may even be wondering what use writing could possibly be.

In this webinar we'll look at practical strategies and resources for meeting these challenges. More importantly, we'll explore ways to inspire ourselves and together do exercises that will help you connect with others and send you back to your writing desk with renewed passion.

Join Barbara Morrison on Saturday, March 28 at 2 PM ET for an interactive session with fellow MWA members and gain insights and inspiration on what you can do today to stay connected to your writing and writing community.

The webinar will be broadcast on the Zoom platform, and we will send you login information closer to the date of the webinar. If you cannot attend the live webinar, a recording will be available for a limited time.

While the webinar is free to members

you MUST register in advance

to attend or view the recording.

If you have non-MWA writer friends who would like to attend, we will have a limited number of additional seats available for $20 each. Access to the live webinar is limited, so register early; the earlier we know how many people are attending, the better we can prepare to accomodate everyone. Regardless, all registrants will  be able to view a replay of the live webinar.

As we all adjust to fast-changing circumstances, MWA will be working on more online offerings. Stay tuned for announcements, as well as updates on Brain to Bookshelf 2020.

MWA wishes you all well, and we look forward to staying connected and inspired together.
